During November, the International Festival of Chocolate liven up the historical Óbidos, always promising several novelties which are temptations to those most greedy.
Usually, this festival includes chocolate and wine pairing tastes directed by enologists, a gallery presenting chocolate sculpture exhibitions, the restaurants area and also interactive spectacles to younger public.
Right at the entrance, visitors are welcomed at Town’s Gate in tents where municipal communities are installed, and there they may buy cooked products containing chocolate, based on recipes from the regional gastronomy.
The menu of this party made to self-declared greedy people, usually also includes an international contest of chocolate recipes and another of chocolate sculptures.
