Casa do Relógio (Clock's House) is located at a medieval tourist area: Óbidos historic town centre. You find it inside the castle walls, near Pórtico da Graça (Graças' Portico). It is a manor house from the XVIII century, totally restored but keeping the original medieval architecture.

The building owes its name to a stone sun clock that exists outside.

During the XII and XIII centuries, population have chosen this area to live, searching for the castle walls protection in case of enemy attack.

Significant restoration work has been done at Casa do Relógio (iniciated by Ramiro Santos), but the original exterior architecture was always preserved. Due to its historical past and its extraordinary location, Casa do Relógio became an elected place by many tourists to enjoy some fun and peaceful vacation.

At the moment Sara Santos Pimentel is the Casa do Relógio's manager. She was born and grown up in Óbidos. She has been always linked to the House ever since, so she could inform of all secrets and enchantments of the Town.
